6000 Masks, 3 Respirators: Assistance from Armenians Abroad Arrives Soon in Armenia
The fundraising campaign "One Mask – One Life" can be considered completed at this stage, with a total of 4740 lari raised from June 7 to 16, as reported by "Alic Media." The collected funds were used to purchase 6000 medical three-layer masks. Additionally, three portable ventilators have been acquired with support from the Armenian community in Belgium.
Another 1000 masks were provided by the "Union of Armenians of Georgia" NGO, operating in Georgia. All the assistance obtained will arrive in Armenia on June 19. The transfer logistics to the Armenian-Georgian border are being organized by the Armenian Embassy in Georgia, while the Armenian side will receive the equipment and masks through the "Hayastan All-Armenian Fund."
Notably, those willing to help Armenia include not only Armenians but also Georgians.
It should be reminded that, just days ago, thanks to the efforts of Armenians in Georgia, an additional 50 artificial respiration devices were purchased and sent to Armenia. Furthermore, another 3000 masks were sent by one of the Armenian businessmen from Tbilisi.
