444 people in serious condition, 131 in extremely critical condition: Minister

444 people are in serious condition, while 131 are in extremely critical condition, 39 of whom are on ventilators. This was announced by Health Minister Arsen Torosyan during today's cabinet meeting.

“We have proven that wearing masks in public helps protect us. When we see our elderly citizens playing backgammon in gatherings, it is only masks that can protect them. Until we reach this simple awareness, we will not be able to face this challenge,” he stated.

According to Torosyan, as of 09:00 this morning, there are 143 people in need of hospitalization, 25 of whom are at home. “Nine are in mild condition, 16 are in moderate condition,” the minister added.
