The Incident Involving Roman Amoyan is Unpleasant and Undesirable: Wrestling Federation

The Wrestling Federation of Armenia has issued a statement regarding the recent incident involving the renowned wrestler, Olympic bronze medalist, double European champion, and multiple world and European awardee Roman Amoyan. The statement reads:

“What happened yesterday to Roman Amoyan is unpleasant and undesirable. For decades, Roman Amoyan has honored the name of Armenia at the highest levels, and thanks to his victories, our tricolor has often been raised, frequently accompanied by the sounds of the Armenian anthem. We condemn any form of violence; however, it is indisputable that everyone is equal before the law.”
