I Apologize to All My Affected Former Colleagues. I Will Address the Police Today. Abrahamyan

During the police actions near the National Security Service building last night, journalists were injured as a result of pushing, and journalists' professional work was obstructed, which is unacceptable, despite the absence of any intent or specific actions directed against journalists. This was stated by Gayane Abrahamyan, a member of the 'My Step' faction of the National Assembly, on her Facebook page.

She specifically noted, 'I apologize to all my affected former colleagues and I expect understanding, as during these days of emergency caused by the pandemic, both journalists and the police are carrying out their duties under extremely tense conditions, risking health and life.'

'Today, I will address the police to clarify all the details and the necessity of conducting an internal investigation. I urge the police not to obstruct the activities of journalists in any situation, even in the most tense conditions, and to create conditions for the safe conduct of journalistic service.'
