Banks More Diligent in Security Compliance, Reports SES

The Health and Labor Inspection Body of Armenia has conducted intensified inspections today in the Erebuni administrative district of Yerevan. Following previous monitoring and inspections, the situation has significantly improved, with economic operators being more aware and informed about the safety rules set by the Prime Minister to prevent the further spread of coronavirus. In this regard, banks have shown a cautious and diligent approach.

Moreover, as a result of awareness-raising, advisory, monitoring, and suspension activities, the number of registered issues has significantly decreased. Among the most common violations are not wearing masks or wearing them incorrectly, improper disinfection and application of disinfectants, and failures in temperature checks, among others.

The inspections focus on the presence of logbooks, thermometers, disinfectants, conditions for handwashing and drying, availability of masks and foot-operated waste bins, and other requirements set by the Prime Minister. Based on recorded violations, temporary suspension notices will be submitted regarding certain economic operators.

The SES once again reminds that inspections occur daily and everywhere, urging strict adherence to safety rules, which are of utmost importance from a public health perspective. Failure to comply will result in administrative penalties.
