Azerbaijani Claims of Armenian Forces Firing from Mortar Denied by Artsakh Defense Army

On June 17, the Azerbaijani news website Ordu.az reported that Armenian forces allegedly opened fire from a 60 mm mortar towards the village of Ghapanlu in the Terter region, targeting a truck transporting wheat. This claim has been denied by the Artsakh Defense Army.

The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Artsakh stated that its frontline units strictly adhere to the ceasefire regime. At the same time, they urged the Azerbaijani side to refrain from actions aimed at artificially destabilizing the situation; otherwise, the Azerbaijani side will bear full responsibility for the consequences.
