Arsen Julfalakyan Again Addresses the Issue Related to Gagik Tsarukyan

Member of the Armenian Greco-Roman wrestling team, world and European champion, Olympic silver medalist, and MP Arsen Julfalakyan has once again addressed the topic related to Gagik Tsarukyan. It is noted that Julfalakyan voted in favor of stripping Tsarukyan of his immunity and freedom.

"I, Arsen Julfalakyan, have been one of the leading athletes in Armenia since 2002. I have won 12 medals in European, World, and Olympic Games (3 more medals during my youth and junior ages...). During those years, I have been awarded by the state under the law - from the Government of Armenia, the National Olympic Committee of Armenia (NOC), the International Olympic Committee (IOC), and the National Wrestling Federation, from 2002 to 2019, the aforementioned institutions/structures were led by the following Presidents - Robert Kocharyan (2002-2008), Serzh Sargsyan (2008-2018), Prime Minister - Nikol Pashinyan, NOC - Gagik Tsarukyan, IOC - Thomas Bach, through the athlete’s solidarity program... The National Wrestling Federation was led by Samvel Aleksanyan (2002-2008), Samvel Karapetyan (2008-2016), Robert Khachatryan.

I have received salaries, bonuses, supplements, pensions, and awards from all these organizations. This system has been in place for all, I REITERATE, all titled athletes without exception. Those who have won have been rewarded, and those who have lost have not been awarded (apologies for stating this very plainly...).

Question: Does an athlete OWE the specified organizations/institutions or their leaders, or is it simply an assessment of that athlete’s victories by those organizations/institutions? And if there is a debt, then to whom specifically? Let’s think.
