25 New Cases of Coronavirus Disease Confirmed in Gegharkunik Province

The Governor of Gegharkunik Province, Gnel Sanosyan, reported on his Facebook page that as of June 17, there have been 25 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease in the Gegharkunik province, and 22 individuals have recovered.

“There has also been one recorded death where the patient was confirmed to have the coronavirus infection; however, the death was due to another illness. The number of such cases is 6,” he added.

Confirmed cases have been reported in the following communities of the province: Vardenis, Sevan, Ddmashen, Geghamavan, Zovaber, Martuni (town), Khachaghbyur, Areguny, Lchashen, Verin Getashen, Vayser, Vardadzor, Chkalovka, Artsvavanist, Nerkin Getashen, Dzoragyugh, Tsovagyugh, Akunk, Lusakunk, Vaghashen, Gavar, Karmirgyugh, Noratus, Chambarak, Sarukhan, Tsovasar, Lanjaghbyur, Vahan, Lchakh, Tsovinara, Geghovit, Lichq, Getik, and Eranos.
