22,150 First Graders Registered Through Online System

In all communities of the Republic where there is one or more schools, the enrollment of first graders is being conducted through an electronic system, with 22,150 children registered. This was announced by Zhanna Andreasyan, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of Armenia.

“This year we anticipate having around 40,000 first graders. The online registration system is set to accommodate approximately 25,000 to 27,000 children. These are the children who live in communities where there are one or more schools. Currently, 22,150 first graders have already been registered,” said the Deputy Minister, adding that from June 1-10, this group of 9,247 children had the opportunity to register online.
