Video: North Korea Blows Up Inter-Korean Communication Office

North Korea has blown up the inter-Korean communication office, which was opened in April 2018. The building had been vacated 19 months later due to the worsening of relations between the two sides, reports Associated Press.

"North Korea blew up the Gaeseong inter-Korean joint office building at 14:49," stated a message from the Ministry of Unification.

The explosion occurred following news about plans to send troops to the demilitarized zone, with Pyongyang expressing intentions to reinforce the border with its southern neighbors.
