Video: 43-Year-Old Vanadzor Resident Shoots Young Man from Yerevan in the Face

On June 14, around 3 a.m., a woman called 1-02 and reported that a bloodied man was trying to stop their car near a sign in Vanadzor, but they were unable to stop.

The report was transferred to the Gugark Division of the Police according to jurisdiction.

As a result of immediate actions taken by criminal investigators, it was revealed that on the same day, around 1:30 a.m., a 43-year-old resident of Andranik Street in Vanadzor had an argument with a 27-year-old young man from Yerevan near one of the food establishments on the Spitak-Vanadzor road. The resident shot the young man in the face with a 12mm caliber hunting shotgun of the Walter type, causing the young man to sustain bodily injuries and be transferred to the hospital.

Thanks to the explanatory work of law enforcement, the suspect presented himself to the Gugark Division of the Police at 7:30 a.m. the same day, bringing the shotgun with him.

A forensic examination has been assigned. The circumstances are being investigated. Materials are being prepared on the fact.
