Video: 20-Year-Old Arrested for Producing Fake 20,000 Dram Banknotes

Recently, investigators from the Arabkir Division of the police obtained operational information that a 20-year-old resident of Yerevan was producing, possessing, and distributing counterfeit banknotes with a nominal value of 20,000 drams. This information comes from the police's press service.

As part of the criminal case initiated in the territorial investigation division, police and investigatory committee officers conducted a search of the young man's rented apartment based on a court decision. During the search, they discovered counterfeit banknotes with a nominal value of 20,000 drams and a printing device that was preliminarily linked to the production of the fake banknotes.

The young man has been arrested. Efforts to identify victims and the preliminary investigation of the initiated criminal case are ongoing.
