Prosecutor Submits Request to Arrest Gagik Tsarukyan

Following the decision to strip him of parliamentary immunity, the National Assembly is currently debating the request to deprive him of freedom. This request has been submitted by Armenia's Prosecutor General Arthur Davtyan.

Davtyan stated that he has already addressed the details of the criminal case and will present the grounds that allow for discussing the issue of imprisonment. The prosecutor noted that Gagik Tsarukyan has organized and led the process of distributing electoral bribes.
