My Childhood Hero Later Became My Political Leader: Nora Arustamyan
“I know that many of you love, respect, and accept Mr. Tsarukyan’s good and bad deeds, but unfortunately, we cannot speak about that today.” This was stated by MP Nora Arustamyan of the Bright Armenia Party during the discussion on June 16 regarding the removal of Gagik Tsarukyan’s immunity in the National Assembly.
She mentioned that she is the daughter of a man who is a hostage to fabricated political dealings (her father is Sedrak Arustamyan, a close associate of Tsarukyan). According to Arustamyan, political dealings are also now being associated with Tsarukyan.
“During the long years of collaboration between Mr. Tsarukyan and my father, I have constantly heard these words from Mr. Tsarukyan: ‘Nothing, let me suffer, but he should not suffer, he is feeding a family.’ It is a source of pride for me that my childhood hero later became my political leader, and before undertaking any action, I hear my political leader’s words, my childhood hero’s words: ‘Whatever you do, you must also think about the other person,’” she stated.
