BHK Issues Statement

The Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) welcomes the joint statement of three extra-parliamentary political forces: Homeland, the Armenian Revolutionary Federation, and One Armenia. This was announced by BHK press secretary Iveta Tonoyan.

The statement specifically notes: “We share all the concerns that have been expressed in the joint statement of the opposition political forces. The Prosperous Armenia Party joins the call to unite around a national-state agenda and to overcome the challenges directed at our statehood with the collective potential and solidarity of our nation. Yes, repressive practices, intimidation, and illegal actions aimed at silencing opposition figures who speak out about the failures of the authorities have no place in the political system of a democratic country. It is time to combine the efforts of all healthy forces, figures, individuals, and organizations to save our homeland, which is daily plunging into the abyss.”

Earlier, we reported that the extra-parliamentary opposition forces, including the ARF, Homeland, and One Armenia, had issued a joint statement regarding the developments surrounding Gagik Tsarukyan and the BHK.
