Armenian Youth Union Members Detained Including President

Ashot Andreasyan, along with the vice-presidents of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation's Youth Union, Artavazd Aleksanyan and Vahe Harutyunyan, as well as more than a dozen youth members, have been subjected to administrative detention. This was reported by the President of the Youth Union, Ashot Andreasyan, on Facebook.

It was stated that Ashot Andreasyan and the others were unlawfully detained while observing all epidemiological regulations during a walk. Several dozen young people are currently in police precincts across various districts of Yerevan.

One of them required urgent medical assistance in Arabkir. The Youth Union has repeatedly appealed to the Office of Human Rights Defender.
