Urgent: The Prosecutor General Submits a Request for the Imprisonment of Gagik Tsarukyan

Parliament Speaker Ararat Mirzoyan has issued a statement in which he says, "According to the 1st part of Article 108 of the Constitutional Law on the Rules of the National Assembly, I inform that I have received requests from the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia for consent to initiate criminal proceedings against National Assembly Deputy Gagik Kolyay Tsarukyan and to consent to the imprisonment of National Assembly Deputy Gagik Kolyay Tsarukyan. The matter has been included in the agenda of the upcoming sessions starting June 15."
