Tiran Khachatryan Appointed First Deputy Chief of the Armed Forces General Staff

According to another decree, based on the proposal of the Prime Minister, Armenian President Armen Sarkissian has signed a decree appointing Karen Abrahamyan as the head of the operational department of the Armed Forces General Staff and Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Republic of Armenia.

It should be noted that Tiran Khachatryan previously held the position of head of the operational department.

By another decree from the President, based on the Prime Minister's recommendation, Tiran Khachatryan has been appointed as the first deputy chief of the Armed Forces General Staff, being relieved of his duties as head of the operational department.
