The Show Was Organized from the Start with Several Messages: Tsarukyan's Lawyer

Overall, there is no testimony against the leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party, Gagik Tsarukyan, in the criminal case. This was stated by Gagik Tsarukyan's lawyer, Emin Khachatryan, in an interview with Kentrontv.

“The show was organized from the outset with several messages. The individual is publicly accused of causing significant damage to the state, as well as tax evasion and illegal entrepreneurship. They come in connection with the bribery case related to elections, and the request from the Prosecutor General of Armenia pertains only to electoral bribery. By examining those materials, we can clearly state that these cases are fabricated. Furthermore, there is no specific evidence presented in the request that would substantiate the claim that Mr. Tsarukyan has any connection to the electoral bribes or to any individual identified as an accused in this case. It is noteworthy that all the ruling party members are releasing materials from the criminal case that have not even been accessible to us in these 2 days,” said Emin Khachatryan.
