In Shirak, 1029 Citizens Are Under Home Quarantine, 176 Positive for Coronavirus
As of June 15 at 11:30 AM, there are 67 patients being treated for coronavirus at the Gyumri Infectious Disease Hospital, 55 of whom are residents of the Shirak region. This information was reported by the Shirak Regional Administration on their Facebook page.
“As of now, 214 residents of Shirak have recovered from the coronavirus and have been discharged from the hospital. Currently, 1029 citizens in Shirak are under home quarantine, with 176 testing positive—showing asymptomatic progress. The primary health care sector is monitoring their condition. 32 patients have been transferred to the capital. There have been 11 recorded death cases.
Since March 1, 3002 samples have been taken in Shirak's medical institutions and the regional center of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention. From May 12 to June 14, 1679 tests have been conducted in Gyumri.”
