Firefighters Extinguish Blaze in Nearly 10 Hectares of Grassland

On June 14, the Ministry of Emergency Situations received 25 calls at the National Crisis Management Center regarding wildfires across various grasslands in the republic, encompassing areas of more than 200 square meters.

Specifically, in the Nor Nork administrative district of Yerevan, fires covered 600 square meters and 2000 square meters; in the Arabkir administrative district, 3000 square meters; in the Shengavit administrative district, approximately 1500 square meters; in the Aragatsotn region, approximately 2 hectares in the village of Byurakan, 8000 square meters in the village of Parpi, and 1.5 hectares in the village of Nor Yezrnka; in the Ararat region, in the city of Artashat, 800 square meters and 1000 square meters; in the city of Masis, approximately 1000 square meters and another 1000 square meters; in the village of Shahumyan, about 1500 square meters; in the village of Nizami, around 4000 square meters; in the village of Khachpar, approximately 4000 square meters and another 4000 square meters; in the village of Bardarashen, 1 hectare; in the village of Aygestan, 1000 square meters; near the Vedi-Ararat highway, 3000 square meters; in the Armavir region, in the city of Echmiadzin, about 1200 square meters and another 1200 square meters; in the village of Shahumyan, around 2000 square meters; in the Lori region, in the city of Tashir, 1 hectare; and in the Syunik region, in the city of Kapan, approximately 800 square meters, 4000 square meters, and 1000 square meters.

Firefighters have isolated and extinguished the fires successfully.
