A Commission for Reviewing Citizen Complaints During the Summer Draft Has Been Established

By the order of the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, a commission has been established under the auspices of the Public Council affiliated with the Minister of Defense to address citizen applications and complaints during the summer draft of 2020. G. Harutyunyan, an advisor to the Minister of Defense, has been appointed as the chair of the commission.

The commission's meetings will be held at the Public Council's office located at 44 Teryan Street (intersection of Teryan and Sayat Nova Streets, building of the Central Administrative District). The first meeting is scheduled for June 30 of this year, with subsequent meetings on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Applications and complaints will be accepted at the Public Council's office on working days. Applications should be addressed to the chair of the commission, specifying the applicant's name and surname, registered address, and contact phone number(s) for feedback. Applications can also be sent via mail.

Copies of necessary documents (certificates, epicrises, research acts, expert conclusions, etc.) must be attached to the complaint application.

To maintain anti-epidemic safety, it is necessary to:

  • Write the application at home,
  • Visit the Public Council's office alone when submitting the application in person,
  • Wear a protective mask and gloves.

A family member may accompany the draftee to the commission meeting, but the commission will not be holding public receptions for citizens.
