16 People Die from Coronavirus in Last 1 Day, 3 From Other Causes

As of June 15 at 11:00 AM, a total of 17,064 cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed, of which 6,276 have recovered, and 285 have resulted in death. Currently, there are 10,409 patients undergoing treatment for the virus. In total, 83,600 tests have been conducted.

Thus, there have been 397 new confirmed cases of coronavirus and 62 recovered patients. In the last day, 16 people died from the virus. The Ministry of Health reports on the death cases that the patients were aged 78 (male), 61 (female), 82 (male), 56 (female), 73 (male), 60 (female), 83 (male), 73 (female), 57 (male), 42 (female), 56 (female), 71 (male), 72 (male), 88 (female), 83 (male), and 41 (female). All had underlying chronic illnesses.

The previous day, 3 deaths were recorded in which the patients tested positive for the coronavirus; however, their deaths were due to other illnesses. The total number of such cases has reached 94.
