We Will Stay Here Because We Are All Gagik Tsarukyan: Naira Zohrabyan Starts Sit-in on Khandjian Street

“They are profoundly mistaken; we will stay here because we are all Gagik Tsarukyan,” said Naira Zohrabyan, a member of the National Assembly from the Prosperous Armenia Party, during a conversation with reporters outside the NSS building.

“We will not allow those who have come to power under democratic slogans to violate democracy using police and KGB-like forces,” she added.

Regarding the NSS's two reports about electoral bribery by the Prosperous Armenia Party in 2017, Zohrabyan termed them as legal futurism.

When asked if there had been a search at her home, she replied in the negative, while emphasizing that she is prepared for any developments.

“I am ready, up to the point that I could be arrested or detained, but this marks the beginning of the end for this government,” the MP stated.

Currently, Naira Zohrabyan has started a sit-in on Khandjian Street and is calling for the attention of ambassadors and human rights defenders accredited in Armenia.
