Tomorrow Morning, It Is Highly Likely That the Armenian National Assembly Will Strip Gagik Tsarukyan of Parliamentary Immunity: Shake Isayan
The leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party, Gagik Tsarukyan, is currently at the National Security Service (NSS) undergoing interrogation. A large crowd has gathered outside the NSS building. Among them are members of the Prosperous Armenia Party, who spoke with reporters.
Shake Isayan stated, "This is clearly political pressure, and we do not rule out that tomorrow morning, it is highly likely that the National Assembly will strip Gagik Tsarukyan of his parliamentary immunity." He added that this is a spontaneous action. Currently, reports are coming in from the regions indicating that there are intentions to join the protest, but it seems that checkpoints have been established in the regions preventing people from coming, Isayan said.
