Live: Discussion on Historical Buildings in the Firdusi Neighborhood - Protest at Yerevan Municipality

A group of citizens is conducting a protest in front of the Yerevan Municipality regarding construction works in the Firdusi neighborhood, while inside the municipality, a council meeting on the same issue is beginning.

With various posters, the citizens are conveying their messages to the city authorities. The protest is taking place under the banner "Firdusi - UsUsi." The Yerevan Council is holding a meeting to discuss the issues concerning the 33rd (Firdusi) neighborhood from multiple perspectives. This session has been convened at the initiative of the council's "My Step" faction.

The meeting involves the permanent committees on Urban Development and Land Use, as well as Culture, Education, and Social Issues. Officials from the Armenian government and the Yerevan municipality, along with other interested parties, have been invited to this extraordinary session.
