«Joghovourd». Moscow Bound Officials to Undergo Frequent Testing

«Joghovourd» newspaper reports that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is set to travel to Moscow on June 24 to participate in the military parade dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War. Naturally, the Prime Minister will not be traveling alone; he will be accompanied by security staff, members of the government, as well as representatives from the Ministry of Defense and personally from Minister Davit Tonoyan.

According to information received by «Joghovourd», the authorities are preparing seriously for this trip to Moscow, taking into account the coronavirus situation. All individuals traveling to Moscow must undergo coronavirus testing every 3-4 days up to June 24 to ensure they are not infected.

Furthermore, testing will be conducted for everyone, not just for members of the leadership. In a conversation with «Joghovourd», representatives from the Ministry of Defense confirmed that Davit Tonoyan has already taken a coronavirus test, and the result was negative. However, as mentioned, they will need to be tested several more times before the trip.

It is also important to note that a negative coronavirus test result is necessary for any travel to Artsakh. Meanwhile, as of yesterday, the deputy speaker of the National Assembly, Alen Simonian, has traveled to Artsakh, having also undergone a test which came back negative.
