How the Implemented Countermeasures Will Affect the Prosperous Armenia Party: Details from the 'My Step' Meeting
The "Joghavourd" newspaper reports that the "My Step" faction of the National Assembly held a meeting yesterday to discuss upcoming tasks. Today, a special session is scheduled in Parliament to extend the state of emergency established in Armenia, while the regular session of the National Assembly will commence on June 16.
During the meeting, the deputies discussed how to present themselves in the following days. "Joghavourd" had previously reported that heated days are ahead, and the deputies have been warned that there will be many extraordinary sessions.
According to information from the newspaper, the main topic of discussion at yesterday's meeting was the position of the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK). It was decided that they should adopt a more restrained approach for a certain period. It was agreed that during today’s special session, they should also maintain a neutral position, refraining from any critical statements towards the BHK and ensuring that everything proceeds smoothly.
This plan is contingent upon the absence of provocations or highly critical speeches. Additionally, it has been reported that following the meeting at the central office, the deputies had further discussions in Parliament regarding who should speak and what questions should be asked.
