Do You Still Not Understand the Consequences of Not Being United? - Tevan Poghosyan
Today was truly a day of difficult perceptions for me. This is what Tevan Poghosyan, the president of the International Center for Human Development and an advisor to the President of Armenia, wrote on his Facebook page.
“Yes, the pandemic and actions aimed at saving human lives are understandable, acceptable, and comprehensible, but… But I have two observations from both human and professional perspectives.
Human: I love my friends, my real friends, and I am always by their side. Today, I am with Ruben. I am confident that his kind is very strong, and he will always go to the end for his principles and beliefs. He will go for all of us. Ruben’s struggle teaches us again today that there cannot be someone else's right, that personally he, just as he fought for the rights of others in Artsakh, is fighting here as well. Thank you, Ruben, for today.
Professional: To communicate any policy, the right tools, the correct presentation, and a 'messenger' are necessary to make your wishes come true. Today, those fighting for the public appeared more convincing than state institutions. Yes, it won’t take long to find the answer to this question. Our everyday life will give the answer. But I hope that the results we will have in a week will provide lessons to understand that acknowledging mistakes is not shameful if you are going to correct them.
P.S. In any case, I will not name names, and I will not speak specifically, but I will not tire of repeating periodically: do you still not understand the consequences of not being united? Every new day teaches us new lessons. What else should happen for the message to reach? I say this without exception to all of us.”
