Concerns Among Relatives of New Police Chief

The newspaper "Iravunk" reports: "As previously announced, the Republic of Armenia has a new police chief. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced this during his recent Facebook Live session, after which various discussions emerged regarding the continuing unique role of the KGB institution in Armenia.

Although some representatives of the authorities continue to make enthusiastic and grandiose statements, it turns out that the relatives and parents of the newly appointed police chief are not so thrilled about their son's new position. According to circulating rumors in the city of Ijevan, family members of the new police chief Vahe Ghazaryan—including his father, Mr. Robert Ghazaryan—have expressed concerns in a close circle that working with Nikol Pashinyan could inflict serious and irreparable harm on their son. In other words, it seems that the father of the newly appointed police chief is not entirely pleased with his son's appointment."
