Azerbaijani Citizen Found in Gegharkunik Province: Details
An Azerbaijani citizen has been found in the Arerguni community of Gegharkunik province, Armenia. This information was provided to Sputnik Armenia by the director of the community's school, Norik Vardanyan.
"He is 26 years old, his mother is Ukrainian, and his father is Azerbaijani. He speaks Russian and Azerbaijani. His mother left, fled to her country, and his father handed him over to an orphanage, after which his father died. After living in the orphanage for 16 years, they told him to go and fend for himself. He has been wandering here and there, living by working as a shepherd. Then yesterday, at 7 PM, he had a dispute with his farmer, at 11 PM he went to sleep, but he sneaked under a post and made his way to Chambarak, where he saw the lights, walked along the road, and arrived in Arerguni. I don't know his name, but his surname is Aliyev," said the school director.
According to Vardanyan, employees of the National Security Service are currently speaking with him.
