Arman Sargsyan Rewarded Himself with a Weapon Before Leaving Office

According to Newspress.am, former police chief Arman Sargsyan rewarded himself with a weapon upon learning of his impending dismissal from office. The question remains, however, why Arman Sargsyan needed a weapon when he had previously been gifted one by the newly appointed Valery Osipyan in 2018.

It is noteworthy that Arman Sargsyan replaced Valery Osipyan as police chief. He was appointed as acting head of the Armenian Police on September 19, 2019, and then was officially appointed as police chief on March 19, 2020. He was relieved of his duties on June 8 of this year, with Vahe Ghazaryan succeeding him.
