Weak Hopes Emerge for Stabilization of the Situation, Says Prime Minister
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, after a session of the commandant’s office held today, noted in a press briefing that weak hopes are emerging that we have and will have a stabilization of the coronavirus situation; however, vigilance must not be lost.
According to the Prime Minister, the formula for stabilizing the situation is one: increasing the responsibility of each individual and the general public for adhering to anti-epidemic regulations, wearing masks, sanitizing hands, and maintaining social distance.
Pashinyan mentioned that outbreaks of the pandemic are particularly occurring during funerals and burial ceremonies, and there is a problem in conducting these in accordance with the commandant's office regulations so that wedding ceremonies do not violate the rules set by the commandant’s office during this epidemic period. In this regard, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of public support.
