VIDEO: Police ‘Lay Down’ Samvel Aleksanyan’s Nephew on the Asphalt

Last night, an incident occurred between the police and Artak Aleksanyan, the nephew of businessman Samvel Aleksanyan and the former head of the Malatia-Sebastia administrative district. As a result, the police used force against Artak Aleksanyan and his companions. The reason was non-compliance with the requirements of the emergency regulations and the police's demands.

According to our sources, on that day, Artak was sitting with his friend, Roman Muradyan, a sportsman known as ‘Noragyuzi Roman’, at the ‘Kong’ entertainment venue on Abovyan Street. The police entered the establishment and announced that, according to the governor's decision, it should be closed, asking attendees to leave the area. Aleksanyan and his friend did not comply with the request, resulting in a scuffle. Outside, the police used force, laying Aleksanyan on the asphalt, as stated in the words of Nikol Pashinyan.

We have obtained footage of the incident, which also shows a woman in white clothing who, according to reports, is Artak’s wife. She tries to free her husband from the police's grasp by kicking.
