Biography of the Young Director of the NSS

It has already been reported that Lieutenant Colonel Argishti Kyaramyan has been appointed as the Director of the NSS. Below is his biography:

He was born on May 22, 1991, in the village of Eranos, Gegharkunik province. From 2009 to 2011, he served in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia.

In 2013, he graduated with a bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Law at Yerevan State University. In 2015, he completed professional training courses for candidates for the position of prosecutor at the Academy of Justice of Armenia. In 2016, he graduated with a master's degree from the Faculty of Law at Yerevan State University.

From 2013 to 2014, he worked as an investigator in the EKW of the Police of the Republic of Armenia, and then in the investigative division of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia in the Kanakerr-Zeytun district. In 2016, he worked in the Shirak Regional Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Armenia.

From 2016 to 2018, he served at the Prosecutor's Office of Yerevan. Since June 8, 2018, he has been the head of the Department for Detection of Violations and Administrative Proceedings of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) of Armenia. From July 10, 2018, he served as the head of the Investigation Department of the SRC.

From February 15, 2019, he worked as the deputy head of the Investigation and Operational-Intelligence Department of the SRC. From March 1, 2019, he served as an assistant to the head of the State Audit Office. By decision of the Prime Minister, from April 10, 2019, he was appointed as the deputy head of the State Audit Office.

He was the acting head of the State Audit Office from April 25, 2019, to May 4, 2020. From May 4, 2020, to June 8, 2020, he served as the deputy director of the NSS.

Since June 8, 2020, he has been the Director of the NSS. In 2017, he was awarded with an official medal. He is married and has two children.
