Teacher in Ararat Region Receives Warning, Another Fired for Violating State of Emergency Rules

Yesterday, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan posted a photo on his Facebook page featuring students from the 11th grade of Surenavan Secondary School, along with parents and a teacher, participating in a gathering. This was reported on Facebook by Ararat Governor Garik Sargsyan.

“For violating the legal regime of the state of emergency, I have issued a strict warning today to the director of Surenavan School, Valya Avetisyan, and the teacher participating in the gathering, Hasmik Abrahamyan, has been dismissed from her position. I urge once again to strictly adhere to the rules of the state of emergency and follow the instructions of the commandant,” wrote the governor.
