Tragic Incident in Gyumri: 56-Year-Old Man Buried Under Soil Layer Dies

According to SHAMSHYAN.com, a 56-year-old man named Spartak H., originally from Vanadzor, died yesterday, June 2, at the Mkhitar Gosh Medical Center in Yerevan.

As reported by Shamshyan.com, he was transferred to the center with a critical diagnosis after being initially admitted to the Gyumri Medical Center on May 27.

Authorities from the Kumayri Police Department have determined that on May 27 at around 5:00 PM, Spartak H. was working on construction activities at the address 5 Manushyan Street in Gyumri, under the direction of 'Gevorgyan and Nersisyan' LLC, when a layer of soil collapsed on him. Following the incident, he was taken to the hospital by emergency medical personnel.

An investigation is underway at the Kumayri Police Department regarding the incident. A forensic examination has been ordered.
