Man and 23-Year-Old Woman Set Fire to Trash Bins at Tumanyan and Nalbandyan Intersection

The spokesperson for the Mayor of Yerevan, Hakob Karapetyan, wrote on his Facebook page: “The police have informed that on May 28, four trash bins located at the intersection of Tumanyan and Nalbandyan streets in the capital were set on fire, damaging the glass of a nearby supermarket.”

“Through joint efforts of the Central Division of the Police and the criminal investigation department of Yerevan, a 26-year-old man who was suspected of committing the act was apprehended on June 1 at 18:30 from Heratsi Street, where he provided a confession. It was revealed that the young man had committed the act together with a 23-year-old woman, who voluntarily reported to the Central Division of Police at 19:00 after some explanatory work and also confessed.”
