Roads Open in Armenia

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that as of June 3 at 08:00, roads in the territory of Armenia are passable.

According to information received from the Emergency Situations Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is only open for freight transport due to the state of emergency.

As per information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, the decision to prohibit the entry of foreigners into Georgia remains in effect. The ban does not apply to freight transport.
