Approximately 4,400 People Arrested Amid Protests and Unrest in the U.S.

At least 11 people have died due to protests and unrest occurring in the United States, following the death of African American George Floyd. This was reported by ТАСС.

In Oakland, a 53-year-old federal employee, Daev Patrick Underwood, was killed by gunfire, while his colleague suffered serious injuries. In Omaha, 22-year-old James Scurlock was killed when he was attacking a white man along with a group of associates. During the assault, the man managed to grab a gun and shoot him.

According to the media, there are hundreds of injured people across various cities in the U.S., but determining their exact and complete number is still impossible.

In the last few days, approximately 4,400 people have been arrested in the U.S. due to protests and unrest. They are accused of assault, violating curfew, and blocking roads. It is noted that due to the unrest, curfews have been imposed in about 40 cities across the U.S., including Washington, Los Angeles, and New York.
