82 Patients Being Treated for Coronavirus at Gyumri Infectious Disease Hospital: Regional Administration
As of June 3, 82 patients are being treated for coronavirus at the Gyumri Infectious Disease Hospital, with 26 of them being residents of the Shirak region. This information was provided by the Shirak regional administration.
“A total of 287 patients have recovered from the coronavirus and have been discharged from the hospital to date, of which 187 are residents of the region. Additionally, 26 patients are being treated in the capital. There have been 10 recorded fatalities.”
“Currently, 315 citizens in the Shirak region are under home self-isolation, with 40 of them testing positive for the virus with asymptomatic cases. Their monitoring is being conducted by primary health care services.”
“Since March 1, a total of 2,150 samples have been taken in medical facilities and at the regional center of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention in the Shirak region. From May 12 to June 2, 827 samples were tested in Gyumri.”
“From the first day of the disease registration until May 31, positive diagnoses have been confirmed for 388 residents of the Shirak region, 290 of whom actually reside in the region while 98 hold registration in the region but do not live here,” the administration stated in a post on its Facebook page.
