CamAZ Truck Overturns on Saralanj-Aragyugh Highway: Driver in Serious Condition

On June 2, at 4:54 PM, the National Crisis Management Center received information about an accident on the 5th kilometer of the Saralanj-Aragyugh highway.

A fire and rescue team from the Kotayk regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was revealed that a CamAZ truck loaded with tuff (driver: Khajak A., born in 1959) had veered off the road and overturned.

Prior to the arrival of the rescuers, the driver was hospitalized at the Yeghvard Medical Center and subsequently transferred to the Armenia Medical Center in Yerevan, where doctors assessed his condition as serious but stable.

The rescuers conducted cleaning operations on the affected roadway.
