214 Citizens Return to Armenia via Los Angeles-Amsterdam-Minsk-Yerevan Route
A total of 214 Armenian citizens have returned to Armenia via the Los Angeles-Amsterdam-Minsk-Yerevan route. This was reported by the Facebook page of the Armenian Consulate General in Los Angeles.
“On May 30, 70 Armenian citizens departed for Yerevan from LAX airport through the Los Angeles-Amsterdam-Minsk-Yerevan route. The staff of the Armenian Consulate General in Los Angeles and the Armenian Embassy in the Netherlands provided support to Armenian citizens in the organizational matters. Thanks to the agreements reached by the Armenian Consulate General with KLM and Belavia airlines, Armenian citizens do not need a Schengen visa in Amsterdam and can make use of the transit zone.
On June 1, another 23 Armenian citizens returned to Armenia via the same route. Flights have been conducted on a weekly basis since May 2 based on the mentioned agreements. Thus, a total of 214 Armenian citizens have returned to Armenia via the Los Angeles-Amsterdam-Minsk-Yerevan route. Before each flight from Los Angeles International Airport, the staff of the Armenian Consulate General informs departing passengers about the obligation to self-isolate upon arrival in Armenia,” the statement said.
