Urgent: Constitutional Referendum Canceled

The National Assembly approved in the first reading the legislative package on amendments and additions to the constitutional law on ‘Referendums’. The initiative, authored by lawmaker Vahe Hakobyan from the ‘My Step’ faction, will allow for the cancellation of the referendum on the termination of the powers of the President of the Constitutional Court, Hrayr Tovmasyan, and six other members after the state of emergency is lifted.
