New Record in Brazil: COVID-19 Cases Surge
Brazil has reported a record 33,274 new cases of the novel coronavirus in the last 24 hours. This information comes from official data released by the Brazilian Ministry of Health on Saturday evening, as reported by TASS.
This figure marks three consecutive days of setting new records. In total, the number of individuals infected with the coronavirus in the country stands at 498,928.
The death toll has increased by 956 in one day, reaching a total of 28,834. With this figure, Brazil has surpassed France in the total number of COVID-19-related deaths. More than 200,000 patients have recovered from the virus.
