Two Daughters Infected at 80-Year-Old Mother's Funeral Die from Coronavirus
During the funeral of an 80-year-old woman who died from coronavirus, her two daughters became infected due to non-compliance with emergency regulations, and they also passed away. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan reported this during a press briefing today.
“In this case, we have three people from one family who have died,” said the Prime Minister, addressing the incident. “Why do we say to wear masks? Because today in the republic we have thousands of asymptomatic cases, meaning these people are not even aware that they are sick. They do not have any complaints to contact any healthcare institution, get tested, and confirm their illness. Those who know they are sick are more cautious, and their relatives are more careful as well. In this case, by adhering to these simple rules, even if we encounter those asymptomatic cases, we have a 95 percent chance that we will not get infected by them. If we ourselves are asymptomatic, we have a 95 percent chance that, in following these rules, we will not infect others,” said the Prime Minister.
