Armenia Reports Record 460 New Coronavirus Cases, 8 Additional Deaths

On May 29, Armenia recorded a new daily high of 460 confirmed coronavirus cases, surpassing previous peaks of 452 cases on May 24 and 442 on May 27. This brings the total number of infected individuals to 8,676.

According to the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health, 7 citizens died from COVID-19 in a single day, raising the cumulative death toll to 120. Additionally, there was one death of a patient with the virus due to another illness, bringing the total of such cases to 45 as of May 29.

In total, 8 people died in one day, and the overall number of death cases has reached 165. Meanwhile, 10 patients recovered in the past 24 hours, bringing the total recoveries to 3,287. Active cases currently stand at 5,214, with an increase of 442 since the previous day.

A total of 1,111 individuals were tested on this day, making it 56,042 citizens tested to date.
