Two Aunts Have Died from Coronavirus, My Mother Has a 39-Degree Fever and Can't Get Tested: Citizen Reports
A citizen has contacted Shamshyan.com to report that in recent days, two of his aunts have died from the coronavirus, and for several days now, his mother has been suffering from a fever but is unable to get tested.
In a conversation with our source, he specifically stated: “My grandmother passed away from natural causes on the 16th, and while we went for the burial, my grandmother's two sisters died from the coronavirus within two days. Now my mother has a fever, and wherever we turn to get her tested so that we can be safe, no one is helping us. They say to contact the district doctor, but the district doctor claims it’s a non-working period for four days. When we call the laboratory, it is closed, and when we ask if we can pay for the test ourselves, they won’t allow that either. It seems we are all supposed to get infected because it's a holiday for four days. Who decided to put a holiday during such a severe situation in the country? Can’t a person use their own money to save their mother? We are scared. Two people have already died among us.”
The woman explained that they did not hold a proper burial for her grandmother, as even 20 relatives were not present, and they don’t know where the infections came from. “It has been four days since the burial, and my older aunt who lives in Bangladesh fell ill. She went to the doctor and was told she had bilateral pneumonia. She underwent treatment at home, but her condition worsened, and she was taken to the hospital, where she lived for two days and then died from the coronavirus. We did not even participate in anything; two days ago, my other aunt, who lives in the village of Aghdzq, was taken to the hospital in Ashtarak by her son with a cough. They tested him, and the result was positive. Seeing this, they tested my aunt, and as soon as she was taken to the hospital in Ashtarak, she was immediately put in resuscitation. My aunt did not survive until morning. She died from the coronavirus as well.”
