Police Discover Group Stealing from Terminals

On May 27, at 03:35 AM, the Central Police Department received a report that unknown individuals were attempting to steal from a terminal on Khorenatsi Street. Criminal investigators immediately responded to the scene and noticed suspicious individuals fleeing before reaching the specified address.

The police pursued the suspects and apprehended two young men, aged 22 and 26, at the intersection of Amiryan Street and Mashtots Avenue, bringing them in for questioning. It was revealed that at 03:30 AM, the individuals had used technical means to open the payment terminal and steal money from the cash register. Coins were found during a personal search.

Additionally, it was discovered that on May 21 and 24, the same individuals had stolen coin and banknote accepting devices from payment terminals on Mashtots Avenue and Abovyan Street using similar methods.

A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident. The young men have been arrested, and the investigation is ongoing.
