Number of Coronavirus Cases in Turkey Exceeds 160,000

As of the evening of May 28, according to the latest data from the Turkish Minister of Health, the total number of recorded infections in the country has reached 160,979, of which 124,369 have already recovered. This information is reported by Ermenihaber.

The latest statistics on coronavirus in the country are as follows: Within 24 hours, the number of new cases increased by 1,182. During the same period, 33,559 tests were conducted, bringing the total number of tests to 1,928,209.

The death toll has risen by 30, totaling 4,461. Currently, 683 patients are in intensive care, while the number of recoveries has increased by 1,576.
